  Poor customer service from the Guildford Mall location and the owner. - I purchased (full retail) two dresses on December 31st. I left the country on holidays on Jan 1st for two weeks and chose not to take the dresses with me. - I tried to return the dresses Feb 4th. Unworn, tags still attached, merchandise they are still currently selling in store at full price. - I was told I was well past the 7 day return policy. Fair. I told them I would accept store credit. The answer was simply ... "no". They were a small business and couldn’t accommodate that”. These dresses are still being sold at full price and not yet marked down. - the manager then called the owner to see if the rules could be bent. The answer was “no”. I have since asked for the owner to contact me via the Sakura FB page. No response five days later. Updates have been made to the page but zero response to my request to be contacted. I have shopped at Sakura/Mantique stores for over 20 years. As poor as this return policy is... the fact that the store owner (who is the final decision maker) has not contacted me as requested is rather disappointing. I will no longer be shopping at any of their locations. I want to remind the store owner that small business succeeds when they go over and above for their clients. I suppose this is why so many of their stores have closed over the years. It's too bad... the clothes are cute. Service is terrible.
