  I’ve been twice in the last week and both cashiers, older ladies , were miserable, not pleasant at all , A hi how are you goes a long way and so does thank you have a good day , the First Lady rolled her eyes at me because my costume didn’t have a tag and today this other lady didn’t even speak at all ? She was like a Robot .. I don’t care if you’re paid or volunteers .. have some decency with customers.. I won’t be donating my goods here .. go to the Salvation Army in Newton.. at least they say hello and the prices are reasonable

  Honestly i wouldnt even give this place a star if i didnt have to in order to leave a comment. I have donated hundreds if not thousands of dollars to value village over the years, items that were gently used to like new if not new already. The price tags they put on items they have been freely given is appauling. Ive searched for womens pants and found that theyre charging the same price for a used pair as you would pay for a new pair. They have name brand sweaters that havent been washed and are stained and ripped but still charging an arm and a leg. I WILL NEVER DONATE/SHOP HERE AGAIN as the "non profit" company seems all for profit according to their prices. Its truely disgusting to see how they are taking advantage of people with their so called "thrift store prices."
